150 Inspirational Carl Jung Quotes on Life, Soul & Self

Carl Jung Quote

In this post, we’ll read Carl Jung quotes who was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst and founder of analytical psychology.

Carl Jung (1875–1961) was born into a family with a strong academic and religious background. His father was a pastor, and his mother came from a family of notable scholars.

He proposed that, in addition to the personal unconscious, there is a deeper layer of the unconscious mind shared by all humans. He believed that individuation is the process of integrating the conscious and unconscious aspects of the self to achieve personal wholeness and psychological balance.

In 1907, Jung began a close collaboration with Sigmund Freud as they both shared a mutual interest in the unconscious mind. But later their relationship deteriorated due to theoretical disagreements, particularly over the nature of the unconscious and the role of sexuality in human motivation.

Let’s read some of the Carl Jung quotes on dreams, soul, life, darkness and more.

I have no definite convictions – not about anything, really. I know only that I was born and exist, and it seems to me that I have been carried along. I exist on the foundation or something I do not know.”
